An initial Committe Meeting was held at the Bock and Dragon (Club bar of the Brussels Barbarians) The following Action items were discussed: PROMOTIONS:
Jersies: Come up with different design for rugby shirts with Kenyan motifs. Need least 13 people to get a bulk discount on the order. The cost will be around 35 euros. - Louren
T-Shirts: Come up with different designs to choose from. We will print at least 20 T-shirts and sell for min. 15 - 20 euros. Any profits will be used for the trip. - Abbz, José and Ochie
Flyers: Come up with flyiers with links to bordeaux 7's. - Louren
Website: Develpe and maintain the Kenyans in Brussels website. - Kingori
Blogspot: Admnistration of Kenyans to Bordeaux Blogspot - Mogaka
Kenyans in Europe Hitlist: Get the email adresses from embassies for all Kenyans contacts from Uk and Netherlands - Abbz, France - Lauren, Begium - Mogaka, Italy & Spain - Damaris
LOGISTICS:
Accomodation: Gather all the details of hotels/hostels in Bordeaux and the prices"please dont get us camping sites"- Ochie
Transport: Analyse all the options like private cars, trains,airlines (virgin, ryanair), renting vans (will depend on how many guys are coming down with us).
Tickets: I assume they still cost around 30 euros for two days, confirm - Mogaka
